Mandatory Personal Insurance is required from around £11 per day. Airborne will facilitate this for you. If you want to try paragliding or your giving somebody that extra special present, this is ideal. On day one, you will start with a briefing, introduction to equipment followed by simulator practice & flat ground training. This will involve starting, steering and stopping the paraglider, without your feet leaving the ground. Day two should see you in the air with some low level flights no more than a few feet above the ground. As your confidence and skill develops, you will move swiftly onto steeper slopes, where you will gain higher altitudes. You will be in control and will go no higher than you want to! By the end of two days students can be flying from as high as 400' although you may have more modest aspirations.
